DEC 2014 – Ready To Get Into The Holiday Spirit On Ice?

1 ice skates

There is, of course, Rockefeller Center’s magnificent tree that overlooks the grand skating rink and Bryant Park’s razzle dazzle with its holiday shops, skating rink and decorations to consider, but both involve a trip to Manhattan. Closer to home, you can find our own version of holiday magic at Redlands on Ice. Presented by the Redlands Chamber of Commerce the Rochford Foundation, and the City of Redlands the rink will add to the holiday fun of young and old.

The rink is open during December 26th through January, $15 per person, includes skate rentals; children 12 and under $12 including the skate rental. Hours of operation are 12 PM to 10PM every day.

Free parking for skaters and spectators will be available in the underground parking at the Redlands Mall off of Eureka.

Glide under the stars or work on your tan while rounding the rink. Even if the temperatures soar to California highs the no-ice rink will still welcome visitors.

Don’t miss this first time ever event in Redlands, book your skating time on line now or stop by the rink and strap on the skates for your holiday adventure at Redlands on Ice.

For more information log on to or call the Chamber office at 909 793-2546.

DEC 2014 – The Racers Are Coming

If Paul Revere were with us today the call would ring out….as he charged through the streets….. “The runners are coming … the runners are coming !!!!, On Saturday, December 27th, for the Redlands Chamber9

Night Light Run! The streets will be aglow with neon bright runners, walkers, strollers and stragglers taking on the 5k challenge as they snake their way through the streets of Redlands.

Starting at the south side of the Redlands Mall the sights and sounds of the light show will electrify the runners as they gear up for the 6 PM race start.

Races will get a cool race shirt, glow accessories, race bib and bragging rights that they meandered in the Redlands Chamber Night Light Run.

After the run athletes and spectators can find their way to local restaurants, watering holes and businesses where they can take advantage of glow in the dark specials, revel in the victory of completing their 5K in the dark race and just enjoy the holiday season in downtown Redlands. Holiday Shopping Guides will be provided for all racers so they can see where the very best deals are.
