Leadership Redlands Service Project

Project Description

This service project aims to support and advance the Redlands community, build the leadership skills of the class members and create a legacy for the Leadership Redlands Class of 2023. Our slogan is “Redlands Leadership: Unite. Empower. Beautify.”

After a careful assessment process we have identified our focus for this year to be the area of North Redlands. Our focus on North Redlands stemmed from feedback from elected officials and other community members and our own lived experience of the lack of exposure to North Redlands as a community destination. Our goal is to encourage increased North Redlands business participation in the community and Chamber, increase exposure to North Redlands through community activities, and support the beautification of the North Redlands community. 

Goals:

1. Encourage and build up the North Redlands contingent of the Redlands Chamber of Commerce. 
2. Attract community members to North Redlands through community events and activities, including Movies in the Park. 
3. Support the beautification of North Redlands through funds designated for the improvement of North Redlands spaces to increase the visual appeal of North Redlands.
