In honor of its 130th Anniversary (1893-2023), the Redlands Chamber of Commerce is bringing back the Annual New Year’s Eve Orange Drop, to celebrate the incoming year. Yamaava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the completely reimagined event.
An enormous orange has been built that will be dropped on a crane, twice as big as the last time the event was held. The event will take place beginning at 6PM until the drop happens at 9PM, on Citrus Ave., between 6th and 8th streets. There will also be a kids activity zone, music, confetti cannon towers, multiple food and dessert vendors, a VIP section, and more. Unlike previous years, the NYE Orange Drop will not be held at midnight, which allows for as much of the community to attend as possible, and for families to be home and celebrate ringing in midnight in their own ways.
Inside the reserved-viewing VIP area, the winning signature cocktail of the inaugural Redlands Chamber Cocktail Competition will be served by The Overland. Limited tickets for the VIP area are $150, which includes entry for up to two people. Please call the Chamber office at 909-793-2546 to make your reservations.
