The Redlands Chamber is calling on the business and greater community to unite in a massive support effort in response to the tragedy of the LA County Fires. We are collecting monetary donations to benefit the Pasadena Humane Society and the Restaurants Care nonprofit, while essential supplies will be gathered for care packages and delivered to Home2 Suites and other local hotels housing displaced firefighters.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact and provide crucial aid to those affected by this disaster. Join us in our mission to support our community during this challenging time.
Firefighter Care Packages: Donated items will be assembled into care packets for firefighters displaced by the LA County fires, with the support of Home2 Suites San Bernardino, ensuring these heroes receive essential supplies and comfort during their recovery efforts. Donations needed: hygiene and personal care items, sunscreen and foot care items, restaurant gift cards, snacks and electrolyte drink powders, and handwritten thank you notes.
Restaurants Care: Donated funds will be allocated to provide financial assistance and resources for food and beverage workers affected by restaurant closures due to the LA County fires, helping them meet their basic needs.
Pasadena Humane Society: Donated funds will be used to provide essential veterinary care and rehabilitation for pets impacted by the LA County fires, ensuring they receive the medical attention and support needed to recover from their injuries. The Pasadena Humane Society has taken in over 400 displaced pets from neighboring cities.
Supplies donations can be dropped by our office between 9am-5pm Monday through Friday, at 47 N. 1st St. Redlands, CA 92373.
