Ribbon Cuttings help draw a crowd and recognize local business in the community. The Redlands Chamber of Commerce is happy to assist with your organization’s ribbon cutting and provides Chamber Ambassadors for the event. 

Ribbon Cuttings may be scheduled on Tuesdays or Wednesday at 12pm. These days of the week and time assure Chamber and Ambassador participation due to schedules and other regularly scheduled monthly events and programs. Chamber Board members and city officials are also invited to participate in ribbon cuttings. 

Ribbon cuttings are scheduled on weekdays because city and business-people are more easily able to accommodate them in their schedule (such as other local businesses seeking to support your business and representatives from the city). Keep in mind that you can host a Chamber-sponsored ribbon cutting during the week with key people in the business community and then host an opening celebration for customers on the weekend.
