Ashdown College of Health Sciences is a nationally accredited vocational college that prepares students for careers in health-related support fields. The Hands-On Medical Massage Program at Ashdown College focuses on medical and therapeutic massage modalities. A faith-based learning institution located in Redlands. They offer students an excellent education, in-depth training, and a solid educational foundation in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Ashdown College of Health Sciences was founded by medical professionals to combine the evidence-based approach of modern medicine with the holistic healing techniques of massage. Their strong local partnerships have allowed them to attract exciting guest lecturers and excellent instructors for our Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, and Pathology classes.

The college’s graduation rate exceeds 90 percent and their education program is widely respected in the medical industry. In fact, Ashdown College has a reputation within the local medical, chiropractic, and sports communities for being one of the top schools for medical massage therapy in the Western United States.

Student Massage Clinic

Ashdown College of Health Sciences has a massage clinic on-campus for students to work on members of the general public, under instructor supervision. This immersive learning experience builds confidence and prepares students to work on the variety of issues and body types they will encounter in the real world.

The supervised clinical lab allows students to combine theory with hands-on practice to enhance their learning and gain confidence in a clinical setting. They learn to critically analyze the problem, assess the need, and organize a treatment plan.

  • Thursday:       6:15 PM and 7:30 PM

  • $35 one-hour session
