The Mitten Building an extraordinary venue for events of all kinds

The Mitten Building was built in 1890 as the Haight Citrus Packing House. Next, it became Mitten Letter Factory from approx. 1940 – 1980. The building was empty for many years until it was restored by the current owners who appreciated its historical significance. The family started leasing the building for the events and floral business in 2000. It has been the perfect fit for many successful and unique events ever since.

The Mitten Building can accommodate any type of event that you can think of: wedding receptions, school dances, dinner events, fundraisers, birthday parties and more.

A great place to come eat, drink, and enjoy live music The Mitten Building is open to the public on select evenings to bring you the best in local live music and artisan food, beer tastings, and cocktails.  Featuring a mellow speakeasy style bar area and inviting outdoor patio in the heart of historic downtown Redlands The Mitten Building has become the place to be in Redlands.

The Main Room will seat up to 500 guests for a buffet or sit down dinner, wedding ceremony, dancing and entertainment. In house catering specialized in organic, free range, grass fed, local ingredients. The Artisan breads are baked fresh every morning and the produce is supplied from Day Family Farms, Three Sisters, Jacinto Farms and several other local farms. Chef Benjamin Rojasleon takes care to insure all of the recipes will delight even the most discerning pallet.

Lunch at the Mitten Building on weekdays, 11 AM – 2 PM, soak up a little sun during lunch while dining on the patio or sit in the cozy bar area, private rooms are also available is you are in need of a quiet space for you party, business meeting or workshop.
